After speaking with a number of coaches from a number of US universities, Daisy narrowed the choice down to two. Wheeling University of West Virginia, and Southern Nazarene University of Oklahoma. After weeks of deliberation  Daisy made the decision to forgo the offer from SNU and join the National Collegiate Rugby Division 1 Champions, Wheeling University. She will travel to West Virginia and join her new team in August 2025.

Wheeling went through the NCR Division 1 season unbeaten, however one game against Davenport University saw them being beat on the day, only to have the game awarded to them after it was found that Davenport had fielded ineligible players!

The other matches throughout an unbeaten season included Penn State, Walsh, Ohio State, The Mount, Virginia State, Baldwin Wallace, Cincinnati (Daisy won MVC of the game), and the US Navy.

Wheeling reached the Division 1 East playoff final against Penn State University and won to progress to the NCR Division 1 final at the Sabrecats Rugby Stadium in Houston to face Southern Nazarene University for the National title.

The date is set... 6th December 2025 t

In November 2025, Daisy received an e-mail that she had been selected as one of the top 100 women's rugby players in US National Collegiate Rugby and was invited to take part in the 2026 US All-Star event in Atlanta, Georgia.

This event sees the top 100 players divided into for squads of 25 to play each other in front of All-American selectors, National Coaches and Professional franchise scouts.

An exciting new chapter!

After her first semester at Wheeling University, Daisy made the decision to leave Wheeling University and transfer to Southern Nazarene University (SNU) in Oklahoma City, OK and join Coach Aric Gilliand and his team.
